Chelsea donai??i??t impress me at all, Says Samir Nasri

Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri has thrown fuel to the fire by claiming that Manchester City are a better team than title rivals Chelsea.

Nasri, who scored his first goal in the Premier League this season in his side’s 4-1 demolition of Stoke City in mid-week, also said that he wasn’t impressed by Chelsea despite the fact that he admires their manager Jose Mourinho, a Chelsea dona t impress me at all.

a Ia m a big fan of Mourinho, but I am not impressed with his team, not at all.

a We have played them twice, one time with ten men – and we were better than them. Then we played them at the Bridge – and we were better than them.

a When I have seen some of their games, I dona t think they are that fantastic a they are just strong, and have a good striker up front.a

Chelsea were close to dropping points as they had to wait until the 90th minute to find the winner against 10-men Everton in their last game. Although they have a healthy seven-point lead at the top, Nasri believes that Chelsea will make mistakes, a For me they are not special at all, and I think they are going to make some mistakes. We just have to perform, to win our games, and see whata s going to happen.

Manchester City are at their best when they are chasing team in front of them and their last two league titles underlines that fact. Both the times, the title race went on until the final day of the season where City came out on top at the price of Manchester United and Liverpool. Nasri revealed that this season will be no different, a This title will be like this until the end of the season. No-one will win the league ten games before the end of the season.a

Not afraid to speak my mind, beams Nasri

Nasri, who has been a very controversial figure in the French media, also said he isn’t afraid to speak out his mind, “From time to time, Ia m a jerk. Sometimes it is better to buckle but it is something I cana t do.

“I managed when I was younger and sometimes I went home with a knot in my stomach. Afterwards, you go off, but not with the right person.

“Ia d therefore prefer to say everything I think, even if it means Ia m not liked, even if it means I sound arrogant and a little *****.

“At least the folk I do like dona t have to suffer,” he told French publication La Equipe 21.
