Manchester City’s dynamic midfielder James Milner has expressed his thoughts on teammate Sergio Aguero’s knee injury. Milner remains optimistic and hopes that Edin Dzeko alongside Stevan Jovetic, could fill in and make up for the goals – coming through Aguero.
“But it is good timing that Edin is coming back. He is fantastic goalscorer and hopefully Stevan will be available for midweek as well, so we have got plenty of players.
Although Manchester City would Aguero, they would look to draw inspiration from their form. “It has been pleasing, the momentum we have built since the last international break. Hopefully we can keep that going for the Champions League and take that momentum into the Christmas period coming up.”

“Obviously after the [Chelsea] result, we knew we wanted to get in touching distance and get them looking over their shoulder.”
“We have played better but you need to win those sort of games if you are going to win the title and we managed to scrap it out.
“It was all about the win. It was massively important to keep the momentum going, especially before Roma.” Milner added.
With Chelsea dropping points over the weekend against Newcastle United, Manchester City are now just three points behind the Blues. Agueroai??i??s injury could be a major concern for Manchester City as both Edin Dzeko and Stevan Jovetic, have failed to impress in this campaign so far.
Meanwhile Manchester City would give a late fitness test to captain Vincent Kompany and hope the David Silva would return for their penultimate encounter against AS Roma.
