Chelsea FC manager Jose Mourinho has revealed how he has snubbed the England job in 2008 on suggestion of his wife.
Jose Mourinho was in contention to land the England job after the Three Lions failed to qualify for the 2008 European Championship and the subsequent departure of Steve McClaren. But the Portuguese manager, who was removed from the managerial job at Stamford Bridge during 2007-08 season, couldnai??i??t take up a new Premier League job under obligations and linked with role at the helm of the England national side.
Mourinho revealed how his wife suggested him against taking up the job and 51-year-old feels he made the right decision at that point.
