Chelsea FC winger Eden Hazard has dismissed rumours linking him with PSG and has expressed his commitment towards the London club.
Eden Hazardai??i??s future at Stamford Bridge has come under a lot of speculations recently with PSGai??i??s reported interest in the Belgium international. The French club have been monitoring him for long period and are believed to be lining up a move for the Chelsea winger.
The speculations were further fuelled by reports suggesting that Jose Mourinho is unhappy with his defensive contribution to the side following his blunder which lead to the crucial goal against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League. His lack of discipline was also highlighted when he forgot his passport for the Champions League tie against Schalke. Despite these incidents, Hazard was Chelseaai??i??s talisman last season and produced some brilliant performances on the pitch. The 23-year-old was Chelseaai??i??s top scorer in the league last season with 14 goals in 32 starts and kept them in the title race.
Eden Hazard, who is not preparing with his national side ahead of the World Cup, has now distanced himself from the rumours linking him with a move to PSG and has revealed that he is currently in talks with the Blues regarding a contract extension.
“I won’t go to PSG, I am staying at Chelsea 100 per cent.
“We are talking with Chelsea about a contract extension, but there’s no hurry on that.
“Of course in football you never know but I am under contract with Chelsea and I want to stay there.
“It is only the beginning of the talks right now so we have time, but the factAi??that Chelsea have offered me a new deal means they have a lot of confidence inAi??me that I can do a good job and that they can count on me.
“PSG never made any suggestions to me personally.” ai??i?? The Chelsea winger said in an interview.
Hazardai??i??s current contract with the club expires in 2017 and he is expected to be offered a pay-rise in his new contract as Chelsea look to secure his service for the long-term.
