According to 90Min, Dario Osorio has emerged on the radars of Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool, among other big clubs across England and Europe. The 18-year-old Chilean prodigy, like Alexis Sanchez, is expected to move out of Chile as transfer speculation continues to mount over his future.
Chilean football has stagnated for several years now, as the country has not produced the precarious talents of the past. The previous generations included players like Alexis Sanchez, Arturo Vidal and Gary Medel, but a new wave of youngsters could be coming in the next years.
The likes of Ben -Brereton Diaz and Dario Osorio have emerged on the radars of some high-profile European clubs. The former has been plying his trade in England, but the latter is a raw, unpolished diamond from Chile. The 18-year-old has already shown his mettle with mature performances for Universidad de Chile and has many high-profile sides chasing his signature.
Real Madrid showed an interest in the summer, but the major attraction is coming from England. Reports suggested Wolves had reached an agreement with the Chilean club for the youngster, but those have not been confirmed yet.
As things stand, Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City are keen on Osorio, with each of those Premier League sides keen on strengthening their core of young stars. The Chilean certainly is considered one of the top-rated stars in his age group.
