The Ivorian midfielder was the difference-maker for the visitors in his first Premier League outing since May.
Pep Guardiola had Yaya Toure to thank as Manchester City kept pace at the top of the table with a 2-1 victory at Selhurst Park in a topsy-turvy encounter.
Yaya opened the scoring in the 39th min after a delicate one-two with Nolito, firing the shot from inside the box.

However, Crystal Palace responded strongly after the break, and were duly rewarded with Conor Wickham scoring the equalizer in the 66th min.

Crystal Palace let their foot off the gas after the equalizer, seemingly satisfied with taking a point, while Manchester City continued to probe for their second. The match looked destined for a draw when Yaya Toure scored yet again, this time from close range, after a smart corner routine from Kevin De Bruyne in the 83rd min.
