Juventus prefer Alisson Becker move over James Trafford

Alisson Becker has been linked with a move away from Liverpool at the end of the season, and Juventus are interested in him.

The Italian club is determined to secure his signature, and it will be interesting to see if they can succeed. They are keeping tabs on Manchester City’s James Trafford as well. However, a report from The Daily Mail claims that the Italian club is preferring a move for the Liverpool star over the Manchester City player.

Trafford is a young player who is likely to cost a lot more. On the other hand, Alisson is already 33 and entering the final year of his contract this summer. He could be available for a reasonable fee.

The Brazilian is a world-class goalkeeper who has played for Liverpool over the years. He has helped them with multiple trophies. It will be interesting to see if Liverpool is prepared to sanction his departure.

Liverpool must hold on to Alisson

They are already losing Mohamed Salah and Andy Robertson in the summer. Selling another key player in the same window might prove to be a mistake. They need to maintain the experience and leadership group impact to build a formidable team for the future. They have brought in talented young players, but they also need the experience and leadership to guide them.

Alisson has been an indispensable asset for Liverpool. It remains to be seen whether the player is interested in returning to Italy. He did quite well with AS Roma in the past, and the opportunity to return to Italian football could be tempting for him at this stage of his career. Juventus might be able to offer him a lucrative contract.

Meanwhile, Trafford needs to seek and move away from Manchester City in the summer. The 23-year-old has played just three league games, and he must secure more gametime if he wants to improve further and fulfil his potential. Juventus could be an attractive destination for him, but the asking price is likely to be prohibitive to any potential move.
