Everton in transfer tussle to sign Ismaila Sarr this summer

Everton will reportedly look to sign 28-year-old Senegalese international Ismaila Sarr from Crystal Palace in the summer transfer window.

According to a report by Sports Boom, versatile Crystal Palace attacker Ismaila Sarr is the subject of interest from Everton. The Toffees are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing a wide attacker ahead of the 2026/27 season amid escalating interest in Iliman Ndiaye.

However, Everton will not be alone in the battle for Sarr’s signature, as AC Milan and Villarreal are also keen on signing the Crystal Palace winger. Meanwhile, the South London outfit will demand around £55-60 million to part ways with the 28-year-old in the upcoming transfer window.

Ismaila Sarr has established himself as one of the most dynamic attackers in the Premier League since joining Crystal Palace from Marseille in August 2024. The Senegalese international returned to England for a second spell in the Premier League after a hit-and-miss stint with Watford, and he has been a top-class addition to the South London club’s offensive unit.

While much of the focus has been on Michael Olise, Eberechi Eze, and Jean-Philippe Mateta in recent seasons, Sarr has quietly made his mark throughout his spell at Selhurst Park. The 28-year-old has been Crystal Palace’s best player this season, scoring 15 goals and providing two assists in 32 appearances across all competitions. Those exploits have alerted several well-known clubs, including Everton.

Ismaila Sarr has been on Everton’s wishlist for a long time. The continued interest makes sense, as the Toffees are scouring the market for a productive wide attacker.
