Arsenal will reportedly look to sign 23-cap Moroccan international Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid in a deal worth €50 million in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Real Madrid playmaker Brahim Diaz is the subject of interest from Arsenal. The Gunners are surprisingly keen on bolstering their offensive unit by signing a versatile playmaker in the upcoming transfer window.
The latest report has revealed that the Premier League table-toppers are ready to submit a bid worth €50 million to sign the Malaga-born playmaker ahead of the 2026/27 season. Meanwhile, Real Madrid will be happy to entertain offers for Diaz in the coming months.
How has Brahim Diaz fared at Real Madrid?
Brahim Diaz has endured a frustrating journey since joining Real Madrid from Manchester City in January 2019. While the 23-cap Moroccan international has made substantial progress in the last six and a half years, he has never been an undisputed starter for Los Blancos.
While the 26-year-old found a stable footing during his loan spell with AC Milan, spending three years with the Rossoneri, he has been in and out of the starting lineup at Real Madrid. Diaz has managed only 1,009 minutes of game time in 31 appearances thus far in the 2025/26 season. Nevertheless, his stock is high, with Arsenal among the prospective suitors vying for his signature this year.
London calling?
Brahim Diaz has been on Arsenal’s wishlist for a long time. The continued interest is surprising, as Mikel Arteta has two players to reprise the role Diaz primarily essays. However, Martin Odegaard has not been at his best for two seasons, and recent reports have linked him with a move away from the Emirates. Additionally, Eberechi Eze has been inconsistent in his debut season with the North London club.
