The two Premier League giants are keen on reinforcing their defensive units by signing a centre-back in the summer transfer window. Who is Taras Mykhavko?
Taras Mykhavko is the latest promising prospect to rise in prominence in his homeland. Born in Dobrogostiv, the young defensive sensation spent his formative years in Ukraine, passing through the academies at Skala Morshyn and FK Lviv before graduating from the youth division at Dynamo Kyiv.
The 20-year-old has made over 50 appearances for Dynamo Kyiv thus far while chipping in with four goals and two assists. Meanwhile, Mykhavko has already broken into his national side, making one appearance for Ukraine.
