Manchester City will reportedly look to tie 23-year-old Belgian international Jeremy Doku to a new contract amid his links with Atletico Madrid.
According to a report by TEAMtalk, Jeremy Doku is the subject of interest from Atletico Madrid. The Colchoneros are keen on reinforcing their offensive unit by signing a wide attacker in the summer transfer window. So, the 23-year-old Manchester City winger has emerged as a target for the Spanish outfit.
However, Manchester City will attempt to tie the Borgerhout native to a new contract in the coming weeks to ward off Atletico Madrid heading into the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, Doku has “concerns about his role and wants clarity over his future before committing” to a deal.

Jeremy Doku has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Manchester City from Stade Rennais in a deal worth £55.5 million in August 2023. Born in Borgerhout, the young winger spent his formative years in Belgium, passing through the academies at Olympic Deurne, Tubantia Borgerhout, and Beerschot AC before graduating from the youth division at Anderlecht.
However, the 23-year-old rose in prominence during his spell with Stade Rennais before moving to Manchester City. Doku has made over 100 appearances for Manchester City thus far while chipping in with 17 goals and 32 assists.
