According to a report by TEAMtalk, Erling Haaland is the subject of interest from Paris Saint-Germain. The Ligue 1 champions are scouring the market for a striker after Ousmane Dembele’s recent comments and have set their sights on the Manchester City mainstay. However, Barcelona and Real Madrid are also keen on signing the 25-year-old, although the French giants have made “discreet enquiries” for a possible move.
How has Erling Haaland fared at Manchester City?
Erling Haaland has been one of the world’s best players over the past half a dozen years. However, the Leeds-born striker has taken his career to the next level since joining Manchester City from Borussia Dortmund in a deal worth €60 million in July 2022. The 25-year-old hit the ground running at the Etihad, and he has not looked back in the last three and a half years.
The Norwegian international has amassed 153 goals and 28 assists in 183 appearances for Manchester City thus far, while being instrumental in the club’s success over the last three and a half years. So, the Manchester City mainstay is a viable target for Barcelona, although he may be unattainable this summer.
