Tottenham won’t make PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani’s move permanent, and Juventus are looking to make the most out of the situation.
Randal Kolo Muani’s future has become a massive talking point. Tottenham have decided against signing him permanently, as per a report from TEAMtalk. The French striker is set to part ways with the North London club upon the expiry of his loan deal and return to his parent club PSG.
On the back of an impressive season with Eintracht Frankfurt, the Ligue 1 giants signed Kolo Muani in the summer of 2023. Unfortunately, the move to the French capital did not go according to plan for him. After falling down the pecking order, he had an impressive loan spell at Juventus in the second half of last season.
In his 22 outings for the Old Lady, he bagged 10 goals and three assists. The Frenchman’s impressive performances in the Italian top flight caught the attention of Tottenham, who secured his services last summer on a season-long loan.
The North London club could have considered the idea of making the move permanent, but Randal Kolo Muani has not had the desired impact. In his 26 outings across competitions, the player has only three goals and as many assists.
Will Tottenham complete a permanent deal?
Tottenham are not pleased with Randal Kolo Muani’s performaces and they have little intention of making the move permanent. As things stand, the French striker is set to return to PSG, where his contract runs until 2028. Spurs’ stance was one of the major reasons why the player was pushing for a mid-season exit.
While the Frenchman will continue in North London until the end of the season, he is set to leave the club after that. Kolo Muani will be returning to PSG, but he is no longer a part of their project. Juventus have emerged as a potential destination.
The Old Lady tried hard to re-sign Randal Kolo Muani in the winter window, and they are expected to return for his signature in the summer, with Dusan Vlahovic set to leave the club. The Serie A giants have maintained contact with his camp, as they are convinced his future lies away from Tottenham.
Thomas Frank’s team were ready to sanction his departure in January, so they are unlikely to cause any problems for Juventus. While he is set to return to PSG after the end of the season, the Serie A outfit have already positioned themselves in the race for his signature.
