PSV Eindhoven attacking mainstay Ricardo Pepi is on the verge of joining Fulham in a deal worth €37 million.
Ricardo Pepi has only gone from strength to strength since joining PSV Eindhoven. His impressive performances in the final third haven’t gone unnoticed. While multiple top clubs have been linked with him, Fulham are on the verge of securing his services.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Fulham have reached an agreement with PSV Eindhoven to sign the 23-year-old striker. Both parties have agreed on a €37 million package for the American international. The player has already agreed on personal terms, but there is still one final step to go.
Pepi joined the Dutch club in the summer of 2023 from Augsburg, and he hasn’t looked back since. So far, he has featured in 90 matches for PSV and has contributed towards 45 goals. In the ongoing campaign, he has been involved in 22 matches and has bagged 11 goals and two assists.
Fulham are on the verge of signing Pepi
The American international’s performances have placed him on the radar of multiple top clubs, but it seems Fulham have managed to beat the competition. While his contract at PSV runs until the summer of 2030, the Cottagers have struck a deal with the Dutch club.
They are ready to fork out €37 million in total to land the 23-year-old at the London club. Personal terms have already been sorted with the young striker. Marco Silva will be absolutely delighted by this signing, as he was desperate for a new striker with Rodrigo Muniz out injured, while Raul Jimenez is in the final phase of his career.
Ricardo Pepi will not only add much-needed firepower to their attack but will also become one of their mainstays in the long run. However, the move is not yet complete, as one final step is left.
