Real Madrid are reportedly interested in signing 25-year-old Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez in the summer transfer window.
According to a report from Spanish outlet Fichajes, Real Madrid are prepared to sanction the departure of Eduardo Camavinga and Aurelien Tchouameni for €100 million to fund a move for Enzo Fernandez.
Fernandez has been excellent for Chelsea since joining the club, and he has proven himself a reliable performer in the Premier League. He is a player for his country as well. He has all the attributes to develop into one of the best players in the world, and it is no surprise that Real Madrid are interested in him.
They have not been able to dominate contests in the middle of the park since the departures of Luka Modric and Toni Kroos. The recent signings have not been able to fill the void left by the two players. Real Madrid will need to invest in quality central midfielders, and the 25-year-old Chelsea star could be ideal for them.

What next for Camavinga and Tchouameni?
Meanwhile, Camavinga and Tchouameni are excellent talents, but they have not been able to live up to the expectations at Real Madrid. It is no surprise that the Spanish giants are willing to offload them to bring in upgrades.
Both players have been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past, and it will be interesting to see where they end up. Meanwhile, the report by Fichajes has suggested Camavinga is a target for AC Milan, while PSG are keen on signing Tchouameni.
There is unlikely to be shortage of clubs apart from AC Milan and PSG interested in signing them. They are elite talents who could develop into stars on the right team. Real Madrid value Camavinga at €40 million, while they want €60 million to part ways with Tchouameni.
Meanwhile, Enzo Fernandez could be attracted to the idea of moving to Real Madrid. South American players tend to prefer a move to Spain, and Real Madrid are widely regarded as the world’s biggest club. The opportunity to join them will be hard to turn down. Meanwhile, Chelsea will be unwilling to lose a key player like him, but they could come under pressure if he decides to join the Spanish outfit.
