The report claims the Blues are willing to fork out at least €120 million on the versatile midfielder in a bid to break the transfer market and strengthen their midfield.
Federico Valverde is a player that most of the top clubs around Europe would want in their team. Having risen into prominence at Real Madrid, the Uruguayan is considered one of the top players at the club as things stand, and seemingly carries the indispensable tag on his shoulders.
