Filip Jorgensen pushing for Chelsea exit amid Besiktas links, Antonin Kinsky also a target

Besiktas are eager to sign Filip Jorgensen on a long loan deal from Chelsea, with the player open to the idea of leaving Stamford Bridge.

According to Sabah via Sport Witness, Filip Jorgensen is open to a move to Besiktas this month, with the Turkish giants considering a loan approach to convince Chelsea. The Super Lig side are eager to take the 23-year-old 2024 Chelsea arrival on an 18-month loan deal and include a buy option, while they are also considering Tottenham’s Antonin Kinsky as an alternative.

Filip Jorgensen moved to Chelsea from Villarreal in the summer of 2024 and failed to destabilise Robert Sanchez in the No.1 spot. The latter has fully reclaimed the spot with some superb displays for the Blues this season, which has seen him regarded as one of the best stoppers in the league this term.

While Sanchez remains the firm starter for Chelsea, Jorgensen has still played around 500 minutes across different competitions, including on Sunday, when the team drew to Manchester City away from home. The keeper has been contemplating an exit in January, as there are offers for him in the market.

Besiktas had been keen to sign him, and now, the 23-year-old 2024 Chelsea arrival is open to the idea of joining the Turkish giants. The Super Lig side are ready to make an 18-month loan offer to tempt the Blues, and then include a buy option in the deal.

Whether Chelsea allows their backup star to leave remains the question, but should Jorgensen push for an exit, things could go in the right direction. The idea of playing regularly will certainly entice the 23-year-old 2024 Chelsea arrival, especially at a club where he has a big chance to claim the No.1 spot.

Filip Jorgensen to Besiktas?

Jorgensen is the firm choice for Besiktas heading into this window, although they also have Tottenham’s Antonin Kinksky as a potential alternative. The Spurs keeper has barely played this season, barring outings in the Carabao Cup games.

Besiktas might look at the Spurs man, although they have eyes fixed on Jorgensen this month. It remains to be seen whether Chelsea will allow the keeper an exit this month, although that may also depend on them securing a replacement this month, or they could also recall some of their other talents who are out on loan elsewhere.
