Chelsea present €150 million offer for Vinicius Junior

Chelsea have reportedly presented the idea of a €150 million offer for Vinicius Junior, with Real Madrid set to be tested if an offer arrives.

According to Fichajes, Chelsea are prepared to spend around €150 million to sign Vinicius Junior and take advantage of his contractual situation. Real Madrid could be tested should an offer of that sort arrive from Chelsea or someone else, as they are yet to clarify their final stance on the Brazilian winger.

Chelsea are angling for a move for Vinicius Junior ahead of the summer window, as the Premier League side could enter the race for the coveted Brazilian winger. Real Madrid have been put in a sticky position amid reports that the attacker may not renew his deal that expires in 2027.

Real Madrid have ruled out a January exit for Vinicius, and it remains to be seen whether their stance extends into the summer. Many big suitors are chasing the attacker, including a host of Saudi Pro League sides as well as Manchester City in the Premier League.

Chelsea were also mentioned in the race a while back, and now they are ready to push through with an offer. The report states, the Blues are prepared to spend as much as €150 million to test the waters on the 25-year-old Real Madrid star’s availability.

Chelsea could angle a marquee attacking signing on the left to complement the other areas of their final third. They do lack a top-notch left winger despite their output on the likes of Jamie Gittens and Alejandro Garnacho in the summer. Should the Blues manage a coup and bring the likes of the 25-year-old Real Madrid star, they could make a serious statement of intent to their rivals.

Will Real Madrid sell Vinicius Junior?

Real Madrid are yet to decide on the 25-year-old’s future beyond the summer window despite his contract dispute. Earlier reports ran a narrative that Florentino Perez might sell to fund a move for Erling Haaland as a replacement for the Brazilian, but that operation might prove extremely difficult.

Perez might prioritise a new deal for the attacker, as there are hardly any viable replacement options to bring in the event of his departure. However, should Real Madrid categorically rule out a sale, then they might lose a massive financial opportunity next summer to sell him, as clubs like Chelsea will be willing to place a high offer on the table for Vinicius.
