Juventus inch closer to Kenan Yildiz renewal with latest offer

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid have suffered a blow in their pursuit of Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz.

According to a report from TuttoSport, Kenan Yildiz seems all set to sign a new deal with Juventus. The Old Lady have put forward a new lucrative deal to the Turkish gem, amidst interest from clubs in England and Spain, and there is optimism that he will put pen to paper.

Yildiz hasn’t looked back since joining Juventus from Bayern Munich back in 2022. In just over a year’s time, he got promoted to the Turin-based club’s first team and has gone on to establish himself as a key figure.

Despite being just 20, he is already one of the cornerstones of their team. The Turkish attacking sensation has been involved in 22 matches across competitions this term and has contributed towards 12 goals.

While his current deal runs until the summer of 2029, Juventus have been in talks to hand him a new deal for some time. They are looking to reward him for his performances and, at the same time, secure his long-term future.

Luciano Spalletti’s arrival at the club has helped bring the best out of the 20-year-old, who prefers playing out wide on the left but is equally effective anywhere in attack. He is widely regarded as one of the best young players in the world, and there is no shortage of interest in him.

European giants are keen on Yildiz

Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid are all interested in his services. The Gunners want an upgrade on the left flanks, while Liverpool seek more quality on the flanks amidst uncertainty around Mohamed Salah’s future.

Meanwhile, Chelsea consider him an ideal fit for their project, which revolves around signing the best young players, and Real Madrid feel he could be the perfect signing for them if Rodrygo or Vinicius end up leaving next summer.

Juventus put forward a revised offer

Since renewal talks with Juventus were not going according to plan, all four clubs have been keeping tabs on his situation, waiting for an opportunity to pounce. However, they face frustration in their pursuit, as he is now very close to extending his stay.

The Old Lady are set to hold new talks with his entourage, led by his father, Engin, at the start of next year. Since their initial offer of around €4.5 million plus bonuses wasn’t convincing enough, they are now set to reach the €6 million mark, making him the joint-highest paid player in their squad. Juventus are confident that the new offer will get the job done.
