Arsenal, Manchester City, Real Madrid told to pay €45 million to sign Davide Bartesaghi

AC Milan will demand at least €45 million if they were to sell Davide Bartesaghi amid growing interest in the left-sided defender.

According to Caught Offside, AC Milan will demand at least €45 million to sell Davide Bartesaghi if interest mounts in the young defender. The 19-year-old AC Milan wonderkid has been sensational since his breakthrough in the first team this term, with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Real Madrid interested.

AC Milan have a big task on their hands with regards to keeping one of their most promising players beyond the January window. That said star is Davide Bartesaghi, who has assumed the role of a left-wing back following the departure of Theo Hernandez in the summer.

Bartesaghi is now a key starter under Massimiliano Allegri, as Milan are eager to keep the defender ahead of the January window. Arsenal are one of those interested, as they were recently linked with a €25 million move for the 19-year-old AC Milan wonderkid.

The Gunners are well-stacked on the left side of the defence, given how versatile the 19-year-old AC Milan wonderkid can be with his profile. However, there’s no immediate need, as the Gunners could potentially angle a future move, given Milan wants at least €45 million for Bartesaghi.

Manchester City and Real Madrid were also linked, and much like Arsenal, those two teams also have enough options in Bartesaghi’s position at the moment. It could be a case of acquiring a top talent before his value skyrockets or some other team snaps him up in January.

AC Milan ready to sell Davide Bartesaghi?

AC Milan intends to keep Bartesaghi, although the report states they have slapped a €45 million price point to dissuade suitors. The likes of Arsenal are unlikely to spend €45 million on the defender in the middle of the season, as they might target a new midfielder in the window if at all they were active.

The midfielder is also on Real Madrid’s agenda, while Manchester City are currently happy with their options, unless someone from the team leaves in January. Hence, the 19-year-old AC Milan wonderkid is unlikely to depart the San Siro in January, with the club’s €45 million asking price likely to prove prohibitive for suitors to make their move next month.
