Juventus desperate to keep Kenan Yildiz amid Premier League links

Juventus are reluctant to sell Kenan Yildiz amidst interest from Premier League giants Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham.

Kenan Yildiz’s future has become a big talking point because of his contract situation at Juventus. Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham are keen on signing him and would pounce on any opportunity to bring him to London.

But according to a report from Tutto Juve, Juventus have no intentions of sanctioning the departure of the Turkish international, who is considered a generational talent.

Yildiz hasn’t looked back since joining the Old Lady from Bayern Munich in the summer of 2022. He got promoted to their first team towards the end of 2023 and has only gone from strength to strength since.

The 20-year-old has established himself as a key figure for both club and country. His consistent performances and massive potential have attracted a lot of interest from across Europe.

While his current deal runs until 2029, Juventus are looking to hand him a new deal to secure his long-term future. But they haven’t made any significant progress in renewal talks because of the 20-year-old massive wage demands.

There is a significant difference between what Juventus are offering and what Yildiz is looking for. The Turkish winger wants a salary of around £5 million per season, but the Old Lady can’t afford to offer him such a package because of their financial situation.

Premier League clubs are waiting in the wings

Clubs in England could look to make the most out of this situation. Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham, who have been keeping tabs on the 20-year-old, can certainly afford to meet his demands.

The Blues believe he could become one of the cornerstones of their project, which revolves around signing the best young players. Arsenal see him as an option to significantly bolster their attack. He could be an ideal partner for Martin Odegaard.

Meanwhile, Tottenham feel he could be the one who takes Heung-min Son’s place in the team. Since the departure of the South Korean international at the end of the last season, Spurs have lacked firepower in the final third.

While Premier League giants are ready to sign the 20-year-old, Juventus have no desire to lose him. They consider him an integral part of their long-term plans, and will try everything to convince him to continue in Turin for now.
