Chelsea and Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing 21-year-old German international Aleksandar Pavlovic from Bundesliga club Bayern Munich.
According to a report by TEAMtalk, Chelsea and Manchester City are keen on signing Aleksandar Pavlovic. The two Premier League bigwigs are eager to reinforce their first-team squads by signing a versatile midfielder next year. So, the 21-year-old Bayern Munich midfield prospect has emerged as a target for them.
The Premier League heavyweights are working on the deal to sign the Bayern Munich whizkid, with “their analytics pointing to the fact he could be the nearest thing to Rodri”. However, prising the Munich native away from the Bundesliga champions will be a tall order, with the youngster yet to indicate if he is willing to leave his boyhood club.
Who is Aleksandar Pavlovic?
Aleksandar Pavlovic has established himself as one of the most promising young prospects in the Bundesliga since breaking into the first-team squad at Bayern Munich. The 21-year-old spent his formative years in Germany, passing through the academies at SC Olching and SC Furstenfeldbruck and graduating from the youth division at Bayern Munich.
Pavlovic has made over 50 appearances for Bayern Munich thus far, chipping in with four goals and four assists. Meanwhile, the German midfielder’s progress has piqued the attention of several high-profile clubs. Premier League bigwigs, in particular, have been interested in Pavlovic, with Manchester City and Chelsea among the prospective suitors vying for his signature.
