Real Madrid rival Arsenal, Liverpool in Michael Olise race

Arsenal and Liverpool are set to face stiff competition from Real Madrid in their pursuit of Bayern Munich attacker Michael Olise.

Michael Olise’s future has become a big talking point as some of the biggest clubs in Europe are set to try to prise him away from Bayern Munich. While he still has a significant amount of time left on his deal at the German club, the 24-year-old winger is keeping his options open.

According to a report from TEAMtalk, Real Madrid, Arsenal and Liverpool are all keen on his signature. The Premier League giants are set to face a battle with the Spanish giants to sign the French international, who is loving life at Bayern.

After making a name for himself at Crystal Palace, Olise joined the German giants in the summer of 2024. He has only gone from strength to strength since. The 24-year-old has been involved in a total of 78 matches, and he has contributed towards 66 goals (29 goals, 37 assists).

He had an impressive debut campaign and has carried that form into the new season, having bagged 23 goal contributions in as many outings. While he is an integral part of the Bayern setup and has well over three years left on his deal, the biggest clubs in Europe are plotting a raid on the German club.

Premier League giants want to bring Olise back

Olise doesn’t intend to force an exit, but he is open to a potential move when the right opportunity comes his way. He doesn’t rule out a return to England, where Arsenal and Liverpool are keen on his signature.

The Reds could soon part ways with Mohamed Salah, who doesn’t have the best of relations with Arne Slot. His departure will leave a big void, and the Merseyside club are looking to fill that void by signing the French winger. Slot is a massive admirer of the 24-year-old, and he can certainly help them cope with Salah’s departure.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are also keeping tabs on him and would pounce on any opportunity to sign. He could significantly bolster their attack, helping them compete for the biggest titles.

Real Madrid to rival the English clubs

However, neither English club will find it easy to secure his services. Negotiations with Bayern will be very difficult, and on top of that, Real Madrid could make things more difficult for them. The Spanish giants are interested in his services, as they consider revamping their attack.

They could end up parting ways with Vinicius, Rodrygo and Endrick next summer. If the trio ends up leaving, they will have enough room as well as the finances needed to land Olise.
