Chelsea attacker Mykhailo Mudryk has been linked with a move away from the West London club ahead of the winter transfer window.
Mykhailo Mudryk is nearing the end of his suspension for doping, and La Liga outfit Sevilla are interested in securing his signature. The Andalusian side is looking to sign him on loan until the end of the season.
It will be interesting to see if Chelsea are willing to let him move on. The attacker will need regular opportunities to get his career back on track. A loan move to Sevilla could be ideal for him. Recent reports have also linked him with a move to RC Strasbourg.
According to an update by La Gran Jugada, Mudryk will be able to return to action after the 17th of January, and Sevilla are hoping to bring him on loan. Los Nervionenses need more quality and depth on the flanks, and the 24-year-old Ukrainian could be a useful acquisition for them.
The former Shakhtar Donetsk prospect was regarded as one of the finest attacking talents in European football when he joined Chelsea. However, the player never quite managed to fulfil his potential with the West London club, and he was eventually banned for doping.
The Ukrainian international is still very much at the peak of his career, and he will be desperate to bounce back strongly. Regular football at the Spanish club could be ideal for him. Chelsea are well stocked in the wide areas, and they will not be able to provide him with opportunities during the second half of the season. It would make sense for them to let the player leave on loan.
Regular football in Spain could help him regain his form and confidence. If he manages to impress in La Liga, Chelsea might be able to sell him for a reasonable amount of money at the end of the season. They paid €100 million for the player, and they will look to recoup some of it in the future.
Meanwhile, there have been rumours that Chelsea could look to send him out on loan to Strasbourg. The Ligue 1 outfit is owned by the same parent company as Chelsea, and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.
Sevilla have endured a difficult season so far, and they need more quality in the final third in order to do well during the second half of the campaign. The Ukrainian international could make himself very useful for them if he manages to get back to his best.
