Santiago Gimenez offered to Fulham, Leeds United, West Ham United

Fulham, Leeds United and West Ham United have been offered the chance to sign AC Milan misfit Santiago Gimenez.

Santiago Gimenez could be heading to the Premier League as intermediaries have offered him to a number of English clubs. According to a report from TEAMtalk, Fulham, West Ham and Leeds have the opportunity to sign the 24-year-old Mexican striker, who has struggled to get going since moving to Italy.

Gimenez’s exceptional performances for Feyenoord earned him a move to AC Milan at the start of the year. The Serie A outfit forked out €32 million to add him to their squad.

Santiago Gimenez fails to fire at AC Milan

It was seen as a real coup at that point. However, the move hasn’t really gone according to plan as he only has seven goals in his 30 outings. Following his inconsistent performances, there has been a lot of talk about his future at the club.

While Santiago Gimenez’s contract runs until 2029, Milan are already considering cashing in on him. They won’t push him out, but will let him leave for the right price. Leeds, West Ham, and Fulham are three English clubs that have been linked with the 24-year-old.

Will Gimenez move to England?

All three clubs have been handed the opportunity to sign the Mexican international, who is currently recovering from an ankle injury. The Hammers are exploring a potential winter move as Nuno Espirito Santo looks to help them survive the drop.

Santiago Gimenez could be a very valuable addition to a team that lacks firepower up top. While Daniel Farke has a decent number of options in the final third, he wants more competition, and Gimenez can certainly help them out.

With Raul Jimenez in the twilight of his career, and Rodrigo Muniz out injured, Marco Silva’s team are desperate for more options in the final third. With Gimenez likely to be available, they can surely push hard for his signature.
