Barcelona, Chelsea, and Manchester United are set to battle multiple top clubs in Europe to sign Brazilian gems Robinho Junior and Souza.
Scouts from the biggest clubs in Europe always tend to have their eyes on some of the brightest young talents from South America. Players who stand above the rest, and maintain consistency tend to become transfer targets for the majority of top clubs.
Robinho Junior and Souza are two of the biggest talents from Santos’ first team who have caught the eye of European giants. According to a report from Ekrem Konur, Barcelona, Chelsea, and Manchester United are set to be involved in an 11-way battle to sign the teenagers.
Souza has come up the ranks at Santos, and he has been a part of their first team since the start of 2024. Over the last two years, the 19-year-old left-back has only gone from strength to strength and has made quite a name for himself.
The teenage sensation is considered to be one of the best young defenders in South America, and while his contract runs until 2028, top European clubs are ready to prise him away. Meanwhile, Robinho Junior has had a sensational rise at Santos. The 17-year-old broke into their first team at the start of 2025 and has already attracted a lot of attention from all of Europe.
The Brazilian seems to be a generational talent, and Santos did manage to secure his future with a new deal during the last summer window. However, European giants could still end up prising him away in the near future.
