Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool in transfer tussle to sign Eduardo Camavinga

Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing 23-year-old Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga.

According to an update by Turkish journalist Ekrem Konur, five European clubs are hoping to sign Real Madrid utility man Eduardo Camavinga and it remains to be seen where he ends up. The French international will cost around €60-70 million during the summer transfer window.

The 23-year-old will be hoping to join a top club where he will be able to play regularly and fight for major trophies. Moving to Arsenal, Chelsea or Liverpool could be an exciting opportunity for him.

Arsenal are well stocked in the middle of the park, and it will be interesting to see how they accommodate the French international if they end up signing him. There is no doubt that Camavinga is a quality player, and he could improve most teams in England.

However, Arsenal already have quality players in that position. They might not be able to guarantee him a regular starting spot. Camavinga will not want to join a club where he might not be a regular starter.

Meanwhile, Chelsea are also well stocked at the base of their midfield. Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez have been outstanding for Chelsea, and Enzo Maresca is unlikely to drop them to make way for Eduardo Camavinga.

A move to Liverpool might be well suited for the French international. Liverpool need more quality in that area of the pitch. They have been overly dependent on Ryan Gravenberch for defensive contributions in the middle of the park. The Netherlands international needs more support, and the Real Madrid utility could be the ideal acquisition.

The Frenchman is young enough to improve further, and he could develop into a key player for the Premier League champions. Eduardo Camavinga is quite young and he will only improve with coaching and experience. Regular football in the Premier League could bring out the best in the player.

Furthermore, the 23-year-old is versatile enough to operate in a defensive role, and he could be the ideal option for Liverpool. However, other high-profile Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, have also shown interest in Camavinga.
