Manchester United finally ready to sell Joshua Zirkzee amid exit links

Manchester United could open the doors to a Joshua Zirkzee sale for the right offer amid interest from Everton and West Ham United.

According to Ekrem Konur, Joshua Zirkzee could move out of Manchester United if the right offer arrives in January. The Dutch forward has courted interest from several sides, including Everton and West Ham United, as the Red Devils could make a concerted decision on his future.

Joshia Zirkzee returned fit at the start of the new season, but has endured a frustrating period since under Ruben Amorim. The Portuguese manager has not preferred to start the Dutch forward, who has played only four times in eleven Premier League games, with all of those appearances coming off the bench.

There have been reports that Zirkzee fears his place in the Netherlands squad if his situation continues at Manchester United, which sparked rumours of a transfer request ahead of January. The Red Devils are somewhat relaxed about the 24-year-old wantaway ace, with reports stating they were reluctant to let him leave due to AFCON, where they will be without attackers like Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo.

However, as per the latest on Zirkzee, Manchester United could be open to a sale if the right offer arrives for their consideration. Amorim has trusted Benjamin Sesko and other attacking players to fill in the position, as the 24-year-old wantaway Manchester United ace is seen more as a squad addition to be used in situations beyond the manager’s control.

He will certainly want to keep playing regular minutes ahead of the World Cup, as the dangers of him missing the boat are growing intense. Hence, Zirkzee will be open to the idea of a departure, even temporarily, as he also has interest from Italy, where he shone with Bologna before making the move to England.

Everton and West Ham boost in Joshua Zirkzee chase

West Ham are interested in Zirkzee, although there’s still no green light from Manchester United up until now for them to make the move. The 24-year-old wantaway attacker might be open to staying in the Premier League for the right project and if he can get plenty of minutes under his belt.

Everton are also interested, among other teams, as the Toffees were keen to lure Richarlison in January, although the move looks difficult. They could explore a move for Zirkzee as an alternative of sorts, but they and West Ham may have to put forward a solid offer to convince Manchester United.
