Arsenal line up €45 million January move for Takefusa Kubo

Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Japanese international attacker Takefusa Kubo from La Liga club Real Sociedad in January.

According to Fichajes, Arsenal are plotting a €45 million move for Takefusa Kubo, and it will be interesting to see if Real Sociedad are prepared to sanction his departure. The attacker is valued at €60 million due to a release clause in his contract with the Basque outfit.

However, Arsenal will not want to pay over the odds for the Japanese international. They will hope to sign him for a reasonable amount of money. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

Arsenal have done well to improve the attacking unit this summer, and they have brought in multiple quality players. However, they could always use more quality on the flanks. The Gunners will be hoping to win the Premier League title and the UEFA Champions League. They need as much quality as they can get.

Kubo could fancy Arsenal move

Takefusa Kubo has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past as well. The former Real Madrid winger has proven his quality in La Liga, and there is no doubt that he has the technical attributes to perform well in the Premier League as well. He could prove to be a solid long-term acquisition for Arsenal.

The North Londoners are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and the chance to join them will be hard to turn down for the Japanese international. It will be a huge opportunity for him to prove himself at the highest level, and he would get to play alongside top-class players at Arsenal.

Mikel Arteta has done well to groom players like Bukayo Saka, Gabriel Martinelli, and Martin Odegaard in recent seasons. He could help the Japanese international fulfil his tremendous potential as well.

Arsenal have been very busy in the transfer market in recent windows. The Gunners have the resources to get the deal across the line, and it remains to be seen whether they can convince the La Liga outfit to sell the player midway through the season. Losing a key player like him in January would be a blow for the Spanish club, and they might want to hold onto him until the summer.
