Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea could reportedly push for the signature of Juventus attacking sensation Kenan Yildiz next year.
According to a report from Caught Offside, Chelsea are interested in acquiring the services of Kenan Yildiz, and they could make a move for the Juventus sensation in January or next summer. Despite making some significant additions to their offensive unit, the Blues still feel the need for another versatile attacker and have their eyes set on the Turkish gem.
Yildiz was a part of the Bayern Munich setup back in the day, but he ended up making the move to Juventus in the summer of 2022. The Turk went up the ranks at the Turin-based club in no time, and he was playing first-team football just a year after joining them.
The 20-year-old has already established himself as a key figure in the team. So far, he has featured in a total of 86 matches for the Old Lady and has contributed towards 29 goals. Yildiz has started both their league games this season, and he has two assists to show for it.
While the youngster still has four years left on his deal, his impressive rise has put him on the radar of some of the biggest clubs, and they are ready to try to lure him away from Turin. Chelsea are one of the clubs that are keen on securing Kenan Yildiz’s signature.
Chelsea could make a move for Yildiz
The Blues significantly bolstered their attack in the summer by signing Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, and Alejandro Garnacho. But having missed out on Xavi Simons, the West London club are looking for more creativity in the final third.
Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers is their priority target, but signing him won’t be that straightforward. As a result, they are also looking at someone like Kenan Yildiz, who is an exciting talent and has made quite a name for himself with his performances for Juventus.
The Blues have reportedly set aside funds to sign an attacker in 2026, and they could use that to bring the Turkish international to Stamford Bridge. However, signing him won’t be straightforward, as Juventus will try their best to keep hold of one of their most valuable assets.
