Manchester United discussing deals for Andre Onana, Altay Bayindir

Manchester United are still in the process of getting rid of the underperforming goalkeeping duo of Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir.

Andre Onana and Altay Bayindir have been quite underwhelming, and Manchester United are discussing deals for them. The transfer window is still open in some parts of the world, and Manchester United are in talks to sell them. It will be interesting to see if they can get those deals across the line.

According to a report by Give Me Sport, Manchester United have signed Senne Lammens, and the Belgian is the first-choice goalkeeper at the club now. It remains to be seen how the situation develops. Onana has been quite underwhelming since joining the club from Inter Milan.

Despite doing well in Italy, he has never quite managed to adapt to the Premier League, costing his side valuable points. His performances have been consistently mediocre, and Manchester United need better players if they want to fight for trophies. Getting rid of the Cameroonian international would be ideal.

On the other hand, Bayindir has not been an improvement either. The Turk’s error-prone performance cost his team three points against Arsenal earlier this season. It is evident that he is not good enough to start for a big club like Manchester United. It will be interesting to see if Lammens can prove to be an upgrade on the two players. The 23-year-old Belgian is highly rated across Europe, and he has a big future.

The two players should look to move on

Meanwhile, the two goalkeepers will look to get their careers back on track as well. Sitting on the bench at Manchester United will not be an appealing option for them. They need to join a club where they will play regularly. Manchester United will not be able to provide them with that opportunity, and therefore, it makes sense for them to move.

A summer transfer away from Old Trafford would be ideal for all parties. It remains to be seen whether any club is willing to provide them with an exit route. Recent reports have linked both with Galatasaray, but the Turkish champions may no longer be interested.
