The Hammers are keen on signing a versatile midfielder before the summer transfer window shuts down. So, the 29-year-old AS Roma veteran has emerged as a target for the East London outfit.
The Hammers are “intensifying their relationship with the player’s entourage” to find an agreement with him before approaching AS Roma. Meanwhile, the Giallorossi will demand a meagre fee of around €10 million to part ways with him and save on his salary in the summer transfer window.
