RB Leipzig playmaker Xavi Simons is a step closer to joining Chelsea, with the two parties striking an agreement on personal terms over a move in the summer transfer window.

The Blues are keen on adding more quality to their offensive unit and have set their sights on the RB Leipzig playmaker. While the Dutchman has also been a target for Barcelona and Manchester United, the youngster has struck an agreement on personal terms with Chelsea.

Xavi Simons has made considerable progress since joining RB Leipzig from Paris Saint-Germain. Die Roten Bullen initially signed the former Barcelona and PSG wonderkid on loan in July 2023 before completing a permanent move earlier this year.

As for Manchester United, Simons will be an ideal fit in Ruben Amorim’s system.
