Manchester United, Newcastle United make move for Randal Kolo Muani, Chelsea have made approach

Manchester United and Newcastle United are interested in Randal Kolo Muani, with Juventus still unsure about making a move for the PSG misfit.

According to Corriere dello Sport, Randal Kolo Muani has sufficient suitors from the Premier League, as Manchester United and Newcastle United are keen. The French attacker’s future at Juventus is unsure following the arrival of Jonathan David, as parent club PSG are demanding €45 million to sell him outright.

The striker market is complicated as well as expensive, with many of the top teams in the Premier League are currently struggling to bring their desired targets. Manchester United and Newcastle United, in particular, have thoroughly struggled to prise away their key targets for the No.9 position so far in the window.

For instance, both those teams were interested in Hugo Ekitike before Liverpool signed him from Eintracht Frankfurt. Manchester United also attempted to bring Viktor Gyokeres, although the Swede has made his preference of joining Arsenal clear, and the move is now close to being finalised.

Meanwhile, Newcastle United managed to keep hold of key man Alexander Isak from Liverpool’s clutches, and now they want to move forward with bringing in an additional striker. The Magpies have an agreement on personal terms with Yoane Wissa, and as per the latest on the Brentford attacker, he could push for a move away from the club.

Manchester United are also chasing Nicolas Jackson, but his huge asking price could pose a huge issue in the chase. Hence, both Newcastle United and the Red Devils are now pivoting towards PSG misfit Randal Kolo Muani, with the French striker likely to be made available despite his desire to probably stay at Juventus.

Randal Kolo Muani to the Premier League?

Juventius are yet to decide on Kolo Muani’s future, and whether they wish to keep him beyond his loan spell that ends at the end of the current month. The Bianconeri have already signed free agent Jonathan David, although they also want to get rid of Dusan Vlahovic. PSG have informed Juventus of their desire to get €45 million for Kolo Muani this summer or €50 million next year as a buy obligation on a loan deal.

Should Juventus move away from any deal, Manchester United might be interested, and so will Newcastle United. With those two teams keen to land a top marksman to lead the line, the 26-year-old PSG misfit could be an answer, although they will want to see if a price reduction or favourable terms with the Parisians are within the realm of possibilities.
