Liverpool will reportedly compete with Arsenal and Bayern Munich to sign 24-year-old Brazilian international Rodrygo Goes from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
According to a report by AS, as relayed by Sport Witness, Rodrygo Goes is the subject of interest from Liverpool. The Reds are ready to go all out to sign the Real Madrid attacker in the summer transfer window. Meanwhile, Los Blancos will demand around €100 million to part ways with the Brazilian international, with Arsenal and Bayern Munich also vying for his signature.
Rodrygo Goes and his career at a crossroads
Rodrygo Goes has endured a topsy-turvy ride since joining Real Madrid from Santos in a big-money deal in July 2019. While the South American attacker has established himself as one of the most highly-rated prospects in La Liga, he has reached a crossroads in his career after barely featuring for Los Blancos during the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The 24-year-old has turned out over 250 times thus far for Real Madrid while chipping in with 68 goals and 51 assists. However, the former Santos prodigy faces an uncertain future at the Santiago Bernabeu, with the situation capturing the attention of several high-profile clubs across Europe. Bayern Munich, Arsenal, and Liverpool are among his prospective suitors this summer.
A man in demand
Recent reports have claimed that Bayern Munich will likely break the bank to sign the Brazilian international in the summer transfer window. The Bavarian giants are scouring the market for a productive attacker after parting ways with Leroy Sane as a free agent. So, the Real Madrid winger has emerged as a viable target for Bayern Munich.
Meanwhile, Arsenal’s interest in Rodrygo Goes is understandable. While the Gunners are closing in on signing Noni Madueke from Chelsea, Mikel Arteta wants more firepower in the final third. So, the Real Madrid attacker is an option worth considering for Arsenal.
As for Liverpool, the Reds recently expressed their interest in the 24-year-old versatile attacker. Liverpool’s eagerness to sign the Real Madrid forward makes sense, considering Luis Diaz faces an uncertain future at Anfield. The Premier League champions are now ready to “do everything in their power” to sign him, with Real Madrid valuing him at €100 million.
It is unclear if Liverpool will fork out €100 million to sign the former Santos prodigy in the summer transfer window. However, with the Reds ready to go all out, they will hope to beat Arsenal and Bayern Munich to his signature.
