Everton in transfer tussle to sign Jackson Tchatchoua

Everton are reportedly interested in signing 23-year-old Cameroonian international Jackson Tchatchoua during the summer transfer window.

According to a report by Ekrem Konur, Wolves, Galatasaray, and Marseille are also keen on signing Jackson Tchatchoua. It will be interesting to see if Everton can win the race for the Hellas Verona wide man’s signature.

The 23-year-old Cameroon international full-back has done quite well for Hellas Verona, and could prove to be a quality addition for Everton as well. The Toffees have shown improvement since the arrival of David Moyes, and they will look to build on that progress in the coming weeks.

The Merseyside outfit are hoping to establish themselves as a top-half team next season. Improving their squad will be crucial for that to happen. Signing the Verona full-back would help them both defensively and in the final third. The youngster has shown his ability in Serie A, and he has the technical attributes and physicality to do well in English football.

Seamus Coleman is in the twilight stages of his career, and Everton need to start planning for the future. They need a player who can replace him in the long run, and the Cameroon International could be the ideal acquisition for them.

It will be interesting to see if Everton submit an offer to sign the player. Meanwhile, recent reports have linked the Merseyside outfit with several other right-backs, including Kenny Tete. However, the Dutchman has signed a new contract with Fulham.

Tchatchoua could fancy Everton switch

The opportunity to move to the Premier League will be quite exciting for Tchatchoua. It would be a huge step up in his career, and he will look to prove himself in the English top flight. Interestingly, he has been on Everton’s radar for over a year.

Everton are a big club, and they could provide him with the platform to showcase his qualities at a high level. If the defender manages to impress in the Premier League, he might be able to secure a bigger move in the future.

Wolves, Galatasaray, and Marseille also offer interesting opportunities for the player. It remains to be seen what he decides. Hellas Verona will not want to lose the 23-year-old easily, and they will look to recoup a substantial amount for his signature. It will be interesting to see which of the four clubs is willing to pay up.
