Tottenham fail with £32 million bid to sign Rodrigo Muniz

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly looking to improve their attacking unit with the signing of Fulham striker Rodrigo Muniz.

According to a report from Brazilian outlet Bolavip, Tottenham Hotspur have submitted a £32 million offer to sign Fulham attacker Rodrigo Muniz, but the West London club have decided to turn it down. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham come forward with an improved offer for the South American striker.

Tottenham signed Dominic Solanke for a club-record fee last summer, but the England international has had a mediocre spell with them. The former Bournemouth striker did not manage to score goals consistently, and he needs more support in the attack. Signing another striker would be ideal.

Meanwhile, the Brazilian impressed with Fulham last season, and he has the quality to play for a bigger club. The opportunity to move to Tottenham could be quite exciting for him. It will be interesting to see if the two clubs can work out a deal.

The striker had 13 goal contributions last season, and those numbers could improve if he plays in a better team alongside quality players. Joining Tottenham could bring out the best in him. Meanwhile, Rodrigo Muniz is also a target for Leeds United.

Thomas Frank did well to get the best out of his attackers at Brentford, and he should be able to unlock the true potential of Solanke and Muniz. Meanwhile, Tottenham have secured Champions League qualification for next season, making them an attractive destination for most players. They have the resources to bring in quality signings as well.

Tottenham need attacking depth

Spurs should look to invest in a reliable striker and a quality wide player. It will be interesting to see if they can improve their squad adequately during the summer transfer window. The North London outfit endured a disappointing Premier League campaign, and they need quality players to bounce back.

Tottenham finished in the bottom half of the league table, which is simply unacceptable for a club of their stature. They will look to push for trophies next year and secure UEFA Champions League qualification through league position. Convincing the striker to join the club will not be difficult, but they will need to secure an agreement with Fulham.
