Jadon Sancho tells Fenerbahce he wants to join a Champions League club

Manchester United attacker Jadon Sancho has been linked with a move away from the Premier League club this summer.

Jadon Sancho was on at Chelsea in the 2024/25 season, and they had an obligation to sign in permanently. The Blues decided against it and paid a penalty fee to send him back to Manchester United, and the player is now being linked with multiple clubs.

Turkish giants Fenerbahce are keen on signing him, but reputed Italian journalist Rudy Galetti has now revealed that the 25-year-old has informed them that he wants to join a UEFA Champions League club.

According to his report on TEAMtalk, Napoli, Juventus, Borussia Dortmund, AC Milan, and Aston Villa have also shown interest in Jadon Sancho. It will be interesting to see how the situation develops.

The 25-year-old did reasonably well for Chelsea in the 2024/25 season, and there is no doubt that he would have been a quality acquisition for the Turkish outfit. It will be interesting to see if they decide to come back with a lucrative offer to convince the player.

Sancho does not have a future at Manchester United, and they will look to sell him permanently this summer. They will hope to agree on a reasonable deal for the player. The Red Devils spent around £73 million on the player when they signed him from Borussia Dortmund. He was expected to develop into a world-class player, but the move has not worked out.

Sancho needs a move

Leaving Manchester United permanently would be ideal for all parties. He will look to get his career back on track with regular football at another club, and Manchester United will look to cut their losses on the player and move on. It remains to be seen where he ends up.

The England international will be desperate to sort out his future permanently and focus on his football. With the World Cup coming up next year, this is high time Jadon Sancho secures a permanent move and forces his way into Thomas Tuchel’s plans for the mega tournament next summer. He needs to play regularly and perform at a high level to play for England in the World Cup. It will be interesting to see where he ends up eventually.
