Real Madrid could push for the signing of Alexis Mac Allister as they are now prepared to offer Arda Guler plus cash in return.
According to Fichajes, Real Madrid are ready to offer Arda Guler plus cash to tempt Liverpool into selling Alexis Mac Allister. The Spanish giants have identified the Argentine World Cup winner as a key target ahead of the summer, although there are doubts whether Liverpool would want to part ways.
Real Madrid are preparing for many changes to their squad in the summer with the addition of a new central midfielder considered high on their agenda. Florentino Perez has plenty of ideas on his mind including Chelsea’s Enzo Fernandez among others, although in recent times, the name of Alexis Mac Allister has sprung up a lot of times.
Real Madrid have identified Mac Allister as a key target ahead of the summer, and are formulating a plan to convince Liverpool. The Argentine World Cup winner has been a sensational signing for the Merseysiders two years ago and is on course to win the Premier League this season.
He’s considered a key part of Arne Slot’s plans, with Mac Allister’s father recently commenting the player might stay at Liverpool for now. However, there’s every chance for real Madrid to make a move for the midfielder, although Liverpool’s asking price might prove prohibitive.
Real Madrid are now open to allowing Arda Guler to go the other way along with a substantial amount of cash. The Spanish giants feel there could be a deal to be made with such an offer, as Liverpool could potentially think about a deal, although they are not thinking about selling Mac Allister ahead of the summer.
Arda Guler’s Real Madrid future in doubt
Guler arrived at Real Madrid two years ago, and while he has shown flashes of his talents, Carlo Ancelotti has not been trusting him with regular minutes. The midfielder was linked with an exit in January, and should his situation continue to remain the same, he might want to leave. Real Sociedad have reportedly offered to take him on loan in the summer, which could be a route for Real Madrid to consider.
Liverpool did enquire right around the end of the January window, and their reported interest in the Turkish international could make Real Madrid think about making a viable offer. It remains to be seen how much the Reds value Mac Allister, although should Real Madrid come in with an approach, the player might be tempted to join the Spanish giants.
