Manchester United are ready to battle rivals Manchester City for the signature of Paris Saint-Germain attacking sensation Desire Doue.
According to a report from Fichajes, Manchester United and Manchester City are both interested in the services of Desire Doue, who has been doing wonders for PSG of late. Both Premier League giants want to reinforce their attack in the summer and consider the French forward an ideal fit for their project.
Doue came up the ranks and made a name for himself while playing for Stade Rennais before securing a big-money move to PSG last summer. The French giants forked out €50 million to add him to their squad.
While he didn’t have the best of starts, the 19-year-old forward has come to life in the later stages of the season. He played a key role in their Ligue 1 triumph and has been a standout performer in the Champions League as well as the Coupe de France. He has a total of 24 goal contributions in his 43 outings.
While he prefers playing as a left-winger, he can feature anywhere in attack as well as a number ten. The teenager was exceptional in their UCL quarter-final first-leg against Aston Villa. His performances have caught the attention of quite a few top clubs.
Manchester giants keen on signing Doue
