Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Newcastle United reportedly remain keen on acquiring the services of Randal Kolo Muani.
According to a report from Graeme Bailey TBR Football, Randal Kolo Muani could secure a move to the Premier League this summer. He remains on the wishlist of Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Newcastle United following an impressive start to life in Italy while on loan at Juventus.
On the back of his impressive performances at Eintracht Frankfurt, Kolo Muani secured a big-money move to Paris Saint-German in the summer of 2023. But the move did not go according to plan. The 26-year-old Frenchman went down the pecking order under Luis Enrique before securing a loan move to Juventus at the start of the year.
The French international has been on fire since moving to Italy. Randal Kolo Muani became the first Serie A player to score five goals in his first three matches in this century. Overall, he has seven goal contributions in his 11 outings. His performances have helped him regain a spot in the French national team.
While Kolo Muani has been doing wonders, Juventus have not had the desired results, which has resulted in the departure of Thiago Motta. The 42-year-old was one of the major reasons for the French striker’s move to Juventus, and following his departure, his future at the club remains uncertain.
The loan deal does not include a buy option. As a result, Randal Kolo Muani could assess his options heading into the summer transfer window. He could end up securing a move to the Premier League, as a number of top clubs in England remain keen on signing him.
Premier League move on the horizon?
Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Newcastle United are all interested in the 26-year-old Frenchman. All four clubs have scouted Randal Kolo Muani at some point during his loan spell in Italy. The line of communication between the player’s representatives, and interested clubs remains open.
The Gunners and the Blues were linked with him during the winter as well. Mikel Arteta was offered the opportunity to sign Kolo Muani in January, but they decided against it. However, now he is back in consideration at the North London club, as they are all set to prioritise the signing of a new forward.
Chelsea are also on the lookout for someone who can compete with Nicolas Jackson for a spot in the starting XI. As far as the Magpies are concerned, they need to be prepared for a situation where Alexander Isak ends up parting ways with the club.
Liverpool need a new number nine as they are looking to offload Darwin Nunez and there is uncertainty around the future of their star forward Mohamed Salah. Meanwhile, PSG are ready to cash in on him, and they will be aiming to recoup the majority of the £77 million they had invested to bring him to the club.
