Everton have entered the race for Newcastle United and West Ham United target Emanuel Emegha, with Strasbourg ready to consider offers.
According to TBR, Premier League trio Everton, West Ham United and Newcastle United could battle it out for Strasbourg striker Emanuel Emegha. The forward has had a top-notch season with the Ligue 1 side, as the English trio are looking to add a quality centre forward to their ranks.
BlueCo, the owners of Chelsea and Strasbourg have done some interesting business over the past two years. Some of their decisions to buy young profiles from so many clubs are beginning to reap their rewards as there’s growing interest in some of their acquisitions.
For instance, Strasbourg forward Emanuel Emegha is attracting big interest from the Premier League following a tremendous season in Ligue 1. His 11 goals in the top flight has Emegha sitting in joint-fifth in the top scorer’s charts, which could benefit BlueCo when the summer window opens.
The owners are open to cashing in on the striker should they receive a top offer in the summer. Strasbourg invested a decent sum to sign Emegha from Strum Graz back in the summer of 2023, with the striker already showing massive improvements compared to his debut season in Ligue 1.
BlueCo will cash in on the opportunity ahead of the summer window, with a host of Premier League sides interested in the 11-goal Ligue 1 attacker. West Ham United and Newcastle United are interested in Emegha, while Everton are ready to battle the duo for the Dutchman’s signature.
Is Emanuel Emegha Premier League-bound?
Everton are chasing a new striker ahead of the summer, while Newcastle United are keen to bring in a replacement for Callum Wilson. West Ham are already short of centre-forwards as things stand as there are two current players Michail Antonio and Danny Ings expected to depart.
Overall, the striker’s market could be big in the Premier League, as some of the top performers from other leagues are likely to get a chance to join the English division. As for Emegha, BlueCo might ask for a hefty price in the summer, with Everton, Newcastle United and West Ham likely to have the funds to make the move happen.
