Real Madrid to demand €70 million to sell Eduardo Camavinga

Real Madrid will demand around €70 million to part ways with 22-year-old French international Eduardo Camavinga amid his links with Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.

According to a report by Spanish outlet Fichajes, Eduardo Camavinga is the subject of interest from Manchester City. The Real Madrid midfielder is also a target for Paris Saint-Germain. Meanwhile, Los Blancos will demand around €70 million to part ways with the 22-year-old midfield prospect in the summer transfer window.

Eduardo Camavinga and his Real Madrid journey

Eduardo Camavinga has been one of the best young midfielders in the world since rising in prominence at Stade Rennais. The Frenchman spent his formative years in France before joining Real Madrid in August 2021, snubbing Manchester United to seal a dream move to the Santiago Bernabeu three and a half years ago.

The 22-year-old has come leaps and bounds in the last three and a half years ago, turning out over 150 times thus far for Real Madrid while chipping in with three goals and nine assists. However, the youngster has yet to become an undisputed first-choice starter for Los Blancos, which has often frustrated him.

Meanwhile, the situation has piqued the attention of several high-profile clubs across Europe. Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are among the prospective suitors looking to sign the French international from Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.

A man in demand

Manchester City’s interest in Eduardo Camavinga makes sense. While the Premier League clubs signed Nico Gonzalez from FC Porto this past winter, Ilkay Gundogan, Kevin De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva, Mateo Kovacic, Matheus Nunes, and Kalvin Phillips face an uncertain future at the Etihad. So, the Real Madrid prospect has emerged as a viable target for Manchester City.

As for PSG, Luis Enrique wants more options in the middle of the park, even though Vitinha, Joao Neves, and Warren Zaire-Emery have been exceptional in the middle of the park. So, Camavinga is an option worth considering PSG heading into the summer transfer window. Les Parisiens and Manchester City now know how much it will take to sign the Frenchman, with Real Madrid valuing him at around €70 million.

Manchester City and PSG, with their deep pockets, should have the funds to afford a deal worth €70 million for the Real Madrid midfield prospect. It will be interesting to see what the future has in store for the 22-year-old French international.
