According to an update by reputed German journalist Florian Plettenberg, Liverpool have submitted an enquiry for Kingsley Coman. Bayern Munich value the French international at around €30-40 million, and it will be interesting to see if they can get the deal done.
Coman earns €17-18 million per year at the German club, and he has been a serial trophy winner throughout his club career. The Frenchman has the experience of playing for big clubs, and he knows what it takes to fight for major trophies regularly.
Liverpool could certainly use more quality and depth in the wide areas, and Kingsley Coman would be a useful acquisition. Even though Coman has not been at his best this season, he has shown his quality at top clubs in the past.
He could be a very useful squad player for Liverpool. Luis Diaz has been linked with a move away from the club, and Mohamed Salah will be a free agent in the summer if the Reds do not tie him to a new contract.
