Liverpool, Newcastle United, Tottenham plotting summer move for Kingsley Coman

Liverpool, Newcastle United and Tottenham are all keen on signing Bayern Munich star Kingsley Coman.

According to a report from CaughtOffside, Kingsley Coman could be on the move ahead of next season after suffering a dip in form for Bayern Munich. He could be made available for a fee of around €45 million, and Liverpool, Newcastle United, and Tottenham are all keeping a close eye on his situation at the German club.

Coman came up the ranks at Paris Saint-Germain, but he left the club a year after getting promoted to their first team. He ended up joining Juventus on a free transfer back in 2014, and a year later, he made the move to Bayern Munich.

He already had four league titles to his name before moving to Germany, where he has added another eight to his tally. While he has been a key figure in the Bayern team, the serial winner could end up leaving at the end of the season.

The 28-year-old is no longer a guaranteed starter at the club. While he has been involved in 32 matches, he has been on the pitch for less than 1,500 minutes and has only contributed towards 10 goals. The dip in form has resulted in a lot of talk about his future.

Coman to leave Bayern?

While his contract runs until 2027, there is a growing belief that he will be on the move in the summer. Bayern are reportedly ready to sell him for a fee of around €45 million. He might not be at his best, but he can still be a great addition to a top club.

Coman was linked with a move to Arsenal last summer, but it didn’t go through. While he has also been linked with a move to the Middle East, the French international wants to continue in Europe and would prefer to move to England or Spain.

Premier League giants are interested in Coman

While the Gunners could return for him, he is also attracting interest from Liverpool, Newcastle, and Tottenham. With Mohamed Salah’s future uncertain, the Reds could need more quality as well as depth in the final third.

While Newcastle often look for young stars, they could look at Coman as an experienced leader for their attack. He could have a prominent role at the Tyneside club.

Meanwhile, Spurs seek a lot of quality in the final third, and the French winger can certainly be a great addition to a squad that hasn’t been able to deliver in the ongoing campaign. While all three English clubs have been tracking his progress, they haven’t held any talks to sign him just yet.
