Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham express interest in Benjamin Sesko, price may go up to €80 million

Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing 21-year-old Slovenian striker Benjamin Sesko from Bundesliga club RB Leipzig.

As per an update by reputed German journalist Florian Plettenberg, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur have registered an interest in RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko, and he could cost up to €80 million.

It will be interesting to see if the Premier League clubs follow up on their interest with an official offer to sign the youngster. Sesko is regarded as one of the finest young attacking talent in European football, and he could develop into a quality player for all three clubs.

Arsenal, in particular, are desperate for a quality striker, and they are keen on signing Sesko. Gabriel Jesus has not been able to score consistently, and Kai Havertz is not a prolific goalscorer either. So, the Gunners need to invest in a reliable finisher this summer if they want to fight for major trophies.

Benjamin Sesko has proven himself in the Bundesliga and the Austrian Bundesliga in the past. He has the physicality and technical attributes to do well in the Premier League as well. He could develop into a key player for Arsenal.

The Gunners certainly have the financial muscle to get the deal done, and it will be interesting to see if they are willing to pay up for the striker. Meanwhile, Sesko’s initial price might be around €70 million, but better performances might push the release clause to €80 million.

Manchester United and Spurs keen

Manchester United could use more attacking depth as well and have their sights set on Benjamin Sesko. Summer signing Joshua Zirkzee is still getting to grips with English football, and Rasmus Hojlund has not been at his best either. Manchester United need another player who can share the goalscoring burden and find the back of the net consistently. It will be interesting to see if they can beat the likes of Arsenal to his signature.

As far as Tottenham are concerned, they signed Dominic Solanke last summer, and it will be quite surprising if they decide to invest in another striker. They should look to sign a dynamic forward who is capable of operating anywhere across the front three.

Sesko will want to play regularly, and Tottenham might not be able to provide him with that opportunity. Spurs will not want to relegate their club record signing Solanke to the bench to accommodate the 21-year-old Slovenian international.
