According to Mundo Deportivo via Sport Witness, Isak is excited that Catalan giants Barcelona are showing interest in him. Apart from the Blaugrana, Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester United are also pushing to acquire his services.
After making a name for himself at Real Sociedad, Isak made the move to the Premier League in the summer of 2022, and he has not looked back since. The Swede has established himself as one of the mainstays in the team, and he has been a consistent performer up top.
The 25-year-old Swedish sensation has been on fire in the ongoing season. He has 21 goals and five assists in his 30 outings. While he still has over three years left on his deal at the Tyneside club, multiple clubs are gearing up to enter a bidding war for his signature next summer.
The Magpies do not really want to part ways with him, but they could be forced to sell if they fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League. They will demand a minimum of €100 million to ensure they book a profit as they have already €90 million to Real Sociedad in fixed fees and variables.

Barcelona are one of the front-runners for Isak’s signature. The Catalan giants want to prepare for life without Robert Lewandowski. They feel Isak could prove to be a great replacement in the long run and he can support the Polish star for now.
Barcelona have expressed their interest in the Swedish international and have been told that the player is excited about being on their agenda. While both parties would love to go through with this deal, the finances could be a major problem for Barcelona.
The €100 million fee and the €18 million in wages could prove to be a touch too much as they need to sell big to balance their books and comply with La Liga’s 1-1 rule imposed on the club. Apart from the Catalan giants, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are all keen on his signature.

The Gunners want a new number nine as they are not happy with the output of Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus. Meanwhile, the Red Devils want a top star for their new project despite having signed Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee in the recent past.
As far as the Reds are concerned, they do not have a strike that meets Arne Slot’s demands. While Alexander Isak is excited to be linked with Barcelona, he will certainly have a lot of options to choose from.
