Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham are in talks with Real Madrid target Dean Huijsen’s agents regarding a potential transfer next summer.
Dean Huijsen could be on the move ahead of next season as his representatives are already in talks with interested clubs. According to a report from TBR, Premier League giants Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham have been in discussion with his agents, while Real Madrid are also keen on his signature.
While things didn’t work out for Huijsen at Juventus, the move to Bournemouth has certainly helped his cause. He switched clubs in search of a more prominent role and the Cherries have given him the opportunity to play regular football at the highest level.
The 19-year-old defensive sensational has made the most out of it. The Spanish youth international has been involved in a total of 23 matches for his new club and has even contributed towards two goals. His consistent performances have attracted a lot of interest and there could soon be a bidding war for his signature.
While the Cherries haven’t publicly confirmed the existence of a release clause in his contract, his representatives have leaked it to the media. It is believed to be in excess of £49 million and could certainly lead him out of the club next summer.
Bournemouth are not pleased with their actions but they do accept the fact that there is a high possibility of him leaving. They are working on a new deal to ensure he can stay at the club for another season but with Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham all pushing, it is unlikely to happen.
English giants are pushing for Huijsen
All three clubs have already held talks with the player’s camp as they want to learn more about a potential transfer ahead of next season. The Reds are looking at him as an ideal long-term replacement for Virgil van Dijk, while Spurs want someone who can cover for Micky van de Ven who has been injury-prone since arriving at North London.
Meanwhile, the Blues are constantly on the lookout for young stars with massive potential and Huijsen can surely be a great fit for their project. They want to bolster their defence and he could be a great addition to their squad. While all three English clubs are pushing for him, they will have to ensure they do not breach any PSR rules in bringing him to their club.
Real Madrid are also believed to be interested in him. Los Blancos’ chief scout Juni Calafat has already put together a report on the Spanish youth international as they consider making a move for him next summer.
