Everton, Fulham, Newcastle United, West Ham United considering summer move for Tammy Abraham

Everton, Fulham, Newcastle United, and West Ham United are interested in bringing Tammy Abraham back to the Premier League.

According to a report from Graeme Bailey on TBR Football, Tammy Abraham could be all set for a return to the Premier League as West Ham United, Everton, Fulham, and Newcastle United are all looking to reinforce their attack ahead of next season.

While Abraham made quite a name for himself coming up the ranks at Chelsea, things did not work out for him at the London club. He ended up making a move to AS Roma in 2021 in search of a more prominent role. The Serie A giants forked out £34 million to acquire his services. He did have an impressive start, but slowly things went downhill.

Tammy Abraham’s uncertain future

The 27-year-old ended up joining AC Milan on a season-long loan to get things back on track. While the Englishman has done a decent job, Milan are unlikely to make the move permanent as they ended up signing Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord in January.

Tammy Abraham will return to AS Roma at the end of the season, but he does not seem to have a future there. The Chelsea graduate will look for a move away, and he is keen on securing a return to the Premier League. He wants to impress England boss Thomas Tuchel and push for a place in the Three Lions squad for the World Cup in 2026.

A return to England can certainly help his cause, and there is no shortage of interest in him. West Ham, who were interested in him last summer, will be one of the leading candidates for his signature. The Hammers signed Evan Ferguson on loan from Brighton & Hove Albion in the winter transfer window to reinforce their attack.

Abraham to return to the Premier League?

With a permanent deal unlikely and the young Irish international set to return to his parent club, West Ham want a new number nine as Michail Antonio and Niclas Fullkrug are still recovering from injuries. While Tammy Abraham is one of their top targets, they will face competition from Everton, Fulham and Newcastle United.

All three clubs have been keeping a close eye on Abraham’s situation at AS Roma. The Magpies need someone who can support the highly sought-after Alexander Isak in the final third, while the Toffees and the Cottagers seek more quality and depth up top. The 27-year-old has proven himself in the English top flight in the past and a move back to the Premier League could help all parties involved.
