Crystal Palace in transfer tussle to sign Zaid Betteka

Crystal Palace are vying for Birmingham City teenager Zaid Betteka as they face big competition from Norwich City and Rangers.

According to Football Insider, Crystal Palace are in a tussle for Zaid Betteka ahead of the summer transfer window, with Norwich City and Rangers well-placed in the race for the Birmingham City teenager. The 18-year-old is yet to sign professional terms at the League One side, which has alerted his suitors over a potential move.

Zaid Betteka is highly regarded by those in charge of Birmingham City, despite the fact that the 18-year-old League One midfield prodigy is yet to play a senior game at St Andrew’s. The teenager has impressed with the Under-21 side, and already has many teams showing an interest in taking him away.

Birmingham City are hopeful of keeping the 18-year-old League One midfield prodigy, as they are vying for promotion from League One. The Blues currently lead the standings with four points and two games in hand over second-placed Wycombe Wanderers. They hope to keep hold of their best talents for next season in the Championship, including Zaid Betteka.
